From Pocket:
“The portal is open, the Alley of Thieves is nigh, and the Hidden Brothers would like to invite you all to the festivities and debauchery that will surely ensue. The raucous and celebratory event will occur in Burleson, TX (see footer for the address) from May 12th through May 14th. If you are reading this missive and thinking that this is the weekend of Mother’s Day, you would be an astute rogue. Draper, Ø, and Pocket have decided to honour the women in all our lives by holding this ostentatious gathering on the most auspicious of calendar days. Be it known that any woman who is, will be, capable of being, or has suffered a loss as a mother will be treated most honourably. You may be wondering what does that entail? Those patient and strong ladies will be served first during all meals, assisted with their children when needed, given time alone from their kin to do their knitting in peace, et cetera. While these noble members of the fairer sex will have their day, nay, their weekend in the sun; that does not mean we will be neglecting our other guests.
Nay, nay do I say in this merry month before May. There will be an ax competition hosted by Ø, a Beggar’s Dice tournament presented by Prof. Grey, Uncle Pocket’s Picking School, Stealable Item event overseen by Draper, a Fireside tale by the children’s cook-ANGUS, a Puppet Show, a craft event for the ladies, and much more. A full schedule will be released in the next few days. As always, food will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own personal stores for snacks. One of our wee thieves has an allergy to peanuts and tree nuts though, so just be mindful when sharing your treats. If any items you bring need to be cooked over a fire, please allow the kitchen to finish the meal for the masses before you use it. Outside currency is recommended to bring to exchange for Thaler, that is if you wish to participate in any of the tournaments and competitions. Also, rumour has is that Draper will have some specialty items up for purchase inside the Beggar Maker.
Now, it has come to our attention that many of you brigands no longer travel light, which makes it difficult to bring many things out in one trip. We are opening the land up on Thursday afternoon for DROP OFF ONLY UNTIL 7:30 IN THE POST-MERIDIAN! Any individual attempting to show up after that time will be asked to return on the morrow. Thieves have traditions, as you all know, and Thursday night is the night for the Hidden Brothers. But, come NOON or later on Friday, we will welcome you all warmly and openly, and watch with full hearts as you and yours begin to enjoy yourselves.
TOUSHAH!”
