Thieves! It’s almost time for the portal to open and The Council has been working hard to plan a great time for everyone.
We’ve been bouncing around some new ideas and have some news that we want to share…

Children
First, we have heard that there might not be very many mudlarks (children) attending this year…only 2 so far. We tell you this so you can plan ahead. Children of all ages are absolutely welcome, but with the possibility that we won’t have a large group as we have in the past, the children’s activities won’t be taking place. However, if you are definitely attending and bringing your kiddos, please let us know by 10/21 so we can try to plan at least a couple of youth activities.

Food
Next, is the idea of having meals be potluck. We mentioned this on our Facebook page and had a positive response. The Council would still provide some food – mostly fruit, veggies, cheese, and bread, and of course the Saturday breakfast. So if you would like to bring a dish to share, please let us know.

Fundraising
Funds are getting low. A lot of money comes out of the pockets of The Council, and though we are happy to do so, it would be very welcomed to have some assistance. If you can’t, that is totally understandable, times are tough. We also take donations of your time. We need clean-up crew, so let us know, using the contact form below, if you would like to contribute in that capacity. We will also be selling raffle tickets soon for a lovely and useful set of items.
